  • Blankets come in on Monday for nap.
  • If you get a sheet sent home from a potty accident, please send it back clean the next day with another blanket.
  • Please send in a water daily. (not juice or tea) If you happen to forget a water for the day, just let us know. We have some in the room just for that. :)

August 21st-25th:

This week we will be reviewing our colors, still getting to know each other, and practicing expectations. We are introducing centers one at a time and allowing students time to practice playing in that center.

In small group, we will be using fine motor and gross motor skills to practice opening drinks and other items. While at breakfast and lunch, we ask them to try once before having us to open something. The other small group will be sorting items by color and practicing counting with them.

The "About Me" project was sent home today, and it is due on August 25th.
Please make sure you mark the breakfast/lunch sheet on a daily basis.
You will also need to send a blanket in on Monday.
Lastly, make sure to look at the newsletter to wear the color of the day!

Thanks SO much for all of your help everyday! We could NOT do this without your help!!!

August 14th-18th:  This week we will be learning about rules and procedures. This will consist of us talking about weather drills, safe areas, school rules, and how we want the classroom to run. We will do a lot of practicing and talking about the rules. Students will help us to create our very own classroom rules and a classroom mission statement. Lastly, make sure to look at the newsletter to wear the color of the day!

Bio

Hello parents!

My name is Mrs. White, and I am so excited to be your Lead teacher this year!! I am married with 3 kids. I have a daughter named  Cayden (age 7), a son named Luke (age 4), and a surprise son named Will (age 3).

I became a teacher because it was school that inspired me to be my best self. I only hope that I too can be an inspiration to your child as my teachers were to me.

If you need to get in touch with me, then please contact me via email at sheila.white@acboe.net or message me through Parent Square. You can also send me a note.
