    Teaching is an absolute passion of mine, and I am so excited to work with you and your child! It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little about me.

    I was raised in Prattville and have lived here all my life.  I attended Auburn University at Montgomery where I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I have begun working toward my Masters in Elementary Education.  I have taught pre-K, kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade, and 6th grade. This is my 3rd year in 4th grade. I love 4th graders and especially love sharing my love for reading, writing, and great literature with them.

    I have been married to my best friend ,T.J., for 27  years.  We have three awesome kids who keep us busy and laughing.  Ben is 22 and is a Senior at the University of Alabama, Maddie is 21 and is also a Senior at the University of Alabama, and Taylor Ann is 17 and is in 12th grade at PHS.  We an adorable, silly Goldendoodle named Sadie, a big, goofy Rottweiler named Harley, and 2 sweet kittens named Evelyn and Eleanor. Some things I enjoy are traveling with my family (especially going to the beach, National Parks,  and Disney World), reading, and Alabama football. (ROLL TIDE!)
