I am originally from Indiana, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education from Indiana University, with flute as my primary instrument. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of teaching musicians of all ages in a variety of roles, including Graduate Assistant with the Department of Bands at Purdue University, Assistant Director of Bands at McCutcheon High School, K–5 General Music Teacher at Dakota Elementary, and now as the PreK–5 General Music Teacher at Pine Level Elementary School.
I’m also a proud Air Force spouse and mother to two wonderful children, ages 13 and 10. As a family, we’ve lived in six different states, with the past three years spent here in Alabama. In our free time, we enjoy boating, camping, and exploring all that this beautiful state—and the surrounding ones—have to offer. We truly love being part of this great community!
