I graduated from Verbena High School in 1999.
I have a bachelor's (2003) and master's degree (2008)from Auburn University Montgomery in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.
Experience
I have taught at Pine Level Elementary School from 2004- present.
My name is Emily Edwards. I am married to Blake Edwards. We have 3 children- Drew, Zoey, Makenzie. This is my 20th year of teaching at Pine Level Elementary School. 19 of those years have been in kindergarten. I live in Clanton, Alabama. My hobbies include walking/running, going to Disney and being involved in my kids extracurricular activities. I enjoy teaching and would not want to be in any other profession. Kindergarten is such a fun and exciting world!

April 8th- Solar Eclipse Day- Our class will not be going outside that day. Please read Parent Square from ACBOE in regards to the Solar Eclipse.
Class Assignment- Students will watch a portion of the Solar Eclipse and draw a picture of what the solar eclipse looked like. If your child stays at home, please have them draw their picture and bring it to school on Tuesday.

April 25th- Student Led Conferences/Bulldog Binder Day (8:30-9:00 in the lunchroom)
