I am proud to be a Pine Level Bulldog!
Marbury High School
Auburn University at Montgomery
(Batchelor's and Master's in Early Childhood Education)
I began my teaching career at PKS and then transferred to PLES. I taught Kindergarten for 12 years and the past 9 years I have been teaching 1st grade. This year, I am looking forward to teaching 2nd grade!
I live in the Prattville area with my husband and two children. They both attend Marbury area schools. I enjoy painting, creating things, being at home, and children's books. I enjoy teaching!
Weekly homework can be found in the student's daily binder in a folder. It is due every Friday for a small treat. Each night will help reinforce the skills we are learning for the week.
Always check your child's daily binder. It has important information in it. Homework can be found in it as well as, the daily behavior calendar.
Every Tuesday, your child will bring home his/her Tuesday folder. You will find the graded papers from the previous week. There is a place to sign after you have reviewed your child's papers. This lets me know that you have seen your child's grades and are aware of them. You also must return the graded papers to school. I am required to keep them on file for a certain length of time per County policy.
